SkivieGivie teams up with Creyo Yogurt for Sowing Seeds in Marshfield

This is a great way to help others while supporting local businesses. Creyo Frozen Yogurt in Marshfield is holding a fundraiser until the end of December 2012. All you have to do is use code SS12 every time you order yogurt, gift cards, t-shirts, etc. and a portion of the proceeds go to SkivieGivie and these funds will purchase under garments for SOWING SEEDS in Marshfield!!! Did I mention their yogurt is delicious!!!

Proud to announce that our application for funding from the Walmart Foundation was recently accepted! These funds will go a long way towards helping SkivieGivie.org purchase undergarments for less fortunate and homeless children. Thanks to everyone for your continued support.

SkivieGivie.org now accepting on-line donations!

SkivieGivie, Inc. is now officially recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit Organization!  With this designation we are pleased to announce that we are now accepting on-line donations to our cause of helping those less fortunate; including homeless men, women and children, with one of life’s most basic yet often overlooked daily necessities: undergarments.  Your donation will go directly towards purchasing new/packaged underwear, socks and t-shirts for these worthy individuals that are utilizing the services of area shelters, hospitals and recovery centers in Massachusetts!

SkivieGivie, Inc. a Massachusetts based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Charitable Organization was founded in September of 2011 with the purpose of providing those less fortunate with one of life’s most basic and common necessities – undergarments.  The undergarments will initially include: new/packaged underwear, t-shirts and socks.  Specifically, the goal of SkivieGivie.org is to collect through donations, fundraisers and other sources these various undergarments for those less fortunate including; homeless men, women and children of all ages that either have been brought to hospitals and/or are staying in homeless shelters or various recovery centers in Massachusetts.  SkivieGivie.org aims to contribute towards solving this essential, but often overlooked basic necessity that impacts thousands and perhaps millions of people across the United States on a daily basis; including hundreds of thousands of United States Veterans many of whom served in the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

SkivieGivie.org is proud to announce that the beneficiaries of it's initial donation drive will be Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital and Father Bill's & MainSpring Homeless Shelters in Quincy and Brockton, The Pine Street Inn in Boston as well as the Boston based Cradles to Crayons organization.  SkivieGivie.org held collection drives at St. Francis Xavier School in Weymouth and the South River School in Marshfield, MA and also collected items from private individuals as well as a large corporate donation from PACT Underwear (wearpact.com)
